Today's Topic - Global Food Issues.
Students: You will need your duo-tangs, a piece of lined paper (extra at the front - bottom shelf) and a pencil (if you do not have one please sign one out of the yogurt container via the teacher's desk).
Duo-Tangs located in the C drawer in the filing cabinet.
TTOC - please review the below content/images with students. Please show the following images/content via projector. Notes re: how to utilize projector as emailed.
Students: Please take note of ANY bolded terms! Students write all bolded terms + their definitions down in your duo-tangs. TTOC - please feel free to make a master list on the board with definitions as you are going through the content below. After you have reviewed all content below with students including terms please have students answer the 3 questions below (In FULL sentences!) independently in their duo-tangs after they have finished with their terms & definitions. Hold class discussion post term and question completion. All duo tangs to be returned to the C drawer in the front filing cabinet! Brennan to assist.
Terms: Students add the definitions post presentation to your duo-tangs.

Questions - to compete individually students - post presentation -
1. Explain how the green revolution has affected poor farmers.
2. What is the difference between developed and developing countries?
3. List how human activity can lead to desertification.
