Use the remote to turn on the projector then on the teacher mac press the small 3 lines with 3 dots (very top right hand side of the screen). Sept 9 2022 Kitchen Safety & Project

Attendance Safety Lesson Safety in the kitchen - a review - pay attention! There will be a quiz next week on hand washing, kitchen safety and dishwashing protocol! (which I will review below as well).  Show Video Below: Safety In The Domestic Kitchen - Food Technology A Kitchen Safety item/aspect will be assigned to you to focus on for your group poster project. Each group - max 4 people. In lab groups pls. Note the lab group letters around the room. There is also a lab group E and F (middle table groups).  Groups:  A - Hand Washing B - Hygiene - Prepping to Cook C - Knife Safety - Washing/Moving/Passing D - Allergy Safety and Awareness E - Kitchen Fires - Pot/Oven/Oil/Person F -  Scalds/Burns - Oven Protocol Group A: Washing Hands Poster - Should include full progression of how to properly wash your hands. Agenda!!  Hathorn Baking 9! 1. Teacher re-intro/bio. 2. Seating Plan for this week and possibly ongoing - alphabetical.This may be adjusted during week 2-3 of Q1 based on groupings TBD.  3. Should you attend school/class ill or with symptoms of illness you will be immediately requested to sign out at the front desk and leave the school premises.  *Wash your Hands!!! Yes, again. Yes I know you may have sanitized before class - BUT YES you do need to wash them again upon entry to this space. :)  Note:  PINK LIQUID IS HAND SOAP. BLUE = DISH SOAP.  *Both work :)  *Please sit at your assigned seat unless instructed to begin your weekly lab &  remember - hands to yourselves  at your desk and while working.  *Do not congregate at the door prior to dismissal - please wait until your table or row is dismissed.
